Text dialog accepts parameters and then forgets them

The text tool inside the sketch workspace accepts parameters into the text height field, and then displays the "fx" symbol in the right side of the text field, but as soon as you close the edit text window the parameter link vanishes and goes back to a fixed value.

Seems to either be a bug where the dialog accepts a parameter when it wasn't supposed to, or a bug where a parameter link is not stored. Personally I would like to be able to use parameters with text to make adjusting them easier.

I cannot replicate your issue.  One thing I would try, create the parameter ahead of time, if you are not doing that already.  I have attached the model I used in the Screencast.  Open it and see it works for you on your application.

Interesting.

So there is a still a bug, if the parameter is created after the text, it won't take. I have confirmed that if I follow the steps
1. create parameter
2. create text
3. set height to parameter
The link sticks and works.

I have now confirmed in two new designs that if you create the parameter after the text, it will not link correctly, the link is dropped after the edit text dialog is closed. This appears to be the bug.
