Text Corruption in Sketch

If I create a text object in a sketch and enter the character 𓋴 (Egyptian hieroglyph of folded fabric 0x132F4) and then resize it by dragging the handle in the bottom right with the mouse the text changes to ㋴ (Katakana yu 0x32F4). That is it seems to have lost the high byte.

I used screencast to record it but it won't upload due to a non specified error but the problem seems entirely reproducible with all characters > 16bits. I can't attach the web file without ZIPing it as web isn't allowed despite being the format screencast uses...
