Technical Drawing Arc Dimension without the Centre Point

Hi All,

I'm dimensioning some arcs within a drawing. Currently (shown below) there is a line going to the centre point, is there any way to remove this line and just be left with the arrow and dimension? The drawing is going to get a bit messy otherwise.Screenshot 2020-11-24 143724.png

@gu , thanks for your reply. It would be great to be able to have the dimension on the outside with the line to the centre removed if anyone has any idea? Otherwise I'll be entering the dimensions manualy which isn't my favourite option.

What Standard do you need to follow?

Examples ISO, ANSI/ASME?

@TheCADWhisperer, I'm not following any standards at the moment. It's just for the look of the dimensions in the drawing.

You will always get the Radius Dimension extension to the center of an Arc dimension in an ISO template and you cannot remove it.  I would suggest as a quick workaround after placing the arc dimension, copy the value and then place a leader on the radius and paste the value.  Then if you delete the previous arc dimension you have what you desire.  Not perfect but a good workaround for those very few large radius dimensions.

Perfect, thank you @TheCADWhisperer, I'll create a new template for this in the future. Thanks for the help.

@jhackney1972 , thanks for the quick workaround.
