System inconsistency processing surface tangency error when combining

I am trying to fill the inside of a complex shape. To do this I used boundary fill with a couple planes to make a solid the shape of the area. However, when I try to combine it with the outside shape I get the error "System inconsistency processing surface tangency". Not sure what I can do to fix this. I tried changing the shape slightly by press/pulling and extruding, but no luck. I would appreciate any help with this.

Please attach you model so others can test it to determine a good solution.

For future reference, here is an article describing how to properly share a Fusion 360 design 😉

lso, maybe you can explain in a screencast (recorded with the Autodesk Screencast tool) what you want to do. Your model is not self explanatory as to the purpose of the exercise.

@jayBFJVX if you are experiencing the same error in your model, please start a new thread and post your model.

This thread is quite old 😉
