Hi @Ceecis

Thanks for posting! I tried to recreate this behavior on my end and was unable to - when the "Suppress" flag was enabled, I was given the option to suppress pattern instances.

Are the checkboxes visible if you toggle the setting on and off? Does the same behavior occur in a newly created pattern? How about if you test in a new file?

Hopefully this helps! If you find that only one file seems to exhibit this behavior, please share it with me using any of the techniques at this link and let me know which sketch the pattern is being created in. I'm happy to have a look.

It does seem to happen only with this one specific file.

Hi @Ceecis

Thanks for the response - I found that newly created circular patterns worked well in your file for me and the option to suppress instances when the "suppress" flag was checked.Screen Shot 2018-04-06 at 10.15.22 AM.png

Please let em know if this is occurring only in a particular sketch - I looked through your file and did not see any circular patterns.

This could have been an error during Fusion installation - does the problem occur after a clean uninstall/reinstall? Its strange that it only seems to effect this design for you, however. As it does not seem to be effecting other models, you could always manually delete the unwanted instances in this file for the time being.

It does seem to happen with one particular sketch. I saved the latest version so only the offending sketch is visible. The sketch is named "Supports".

Hi @Ceecis

Thanks for posting! My copy of the file does not show the latest version - would you mind sharing a new link?

The forums will be down this afternoon starting now, so I will have a look on Monday if you create the link sometime this weekend.

The link that I get from Fusion 360 is the same as the one I posted previously. How do I get a new one?

Hi @Ceecis

Thanks for sending the file over! I was able to reproduce the problem in the attached sketch and also noticed a graphics issue with the suppress checkboxes being previewed in the wrong spot. If you zoom out while creating the pattern, do you see the checkboxes anywhere? Screen Shot 2018-04-06 at 1.44.37 PM.png

As this seems to be unique to a single sketch in a single file, I would work around this by deleting the sketch entity you'd like to suppress after creating the pattern.

As this is unintended behavior, I have logged a ticket with our development team. They will be looking into how this problem occurred in that particular sketch (my guess is something to do with the high number of symmetry constraints). We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

I had the same result as your screenshot. The suppress boxes were on the left of the sketch, however, that issue also happened before the symmetry constrains were included. The mirrored parts were done to do what I couldn't do due to being unable to suppress elements.
