If you would like to select the sketch plane using the View Cube, you can do that now.  Select the New Sketch command, then left click on the face of the View Cube you desire.  Once the view is oriented, left click on the origin plane facing you.  If this is not what you desire, please clarify what you do mean.

when u are sketching and say u want to choose a plane for a new sketch plane under construct .then it would be nice to be able to use the cube to choose the side for the new plane.
hopethis makes sense. otherwise u have to go to origin and choose say xz or other ,its a pain

I don’t understand the problem description.
@830403205

Can you attach a *.f3d file that would help to illustrate the problem?

@830403205 - while you cannot directly click on the view cube to create a sketch, you can get close.  If you click on the view cube, it will orient the view to that face, and in the New Sketch command, clicking in empty space will select the origin plane that is associated with that view.  You do not have to select the origin plane explicitly

Hi
when choosing a plane u should be able to click on the cube in any function. in many instances u have to go to the origin to choose eg xz or yz. it would be nice to choose it from the cube much quicker and easier and spatial
