@ricardobocaz So what command are you using that is asking you to browse to the download folder?

@ricardobocaz

File - Open - Browser to download folder - Crash
File - open - another folder - All good

I think this is my understanding. very strange but does machine restart help? Is the download folder the default that Windows creates and not a customer folder on a network or anything right? Is it on a separate drive than the C:Drive?

You got it right. I also have Inventor installed and I can open the download folder with no problem at all. I've been working with fusion for months and no problem until now. The download folder is the default win folder. I'm not working in a network. Folder is working in C: drive.

@ricardobocaz Very strange here and thinking if something in the registry is causing this. When Fusion crashes. do you get a crash report to send in to Autodesk? If so can you give me a report ID?

When selecting open from menu, Fusion freezes the waiting icon never stops. Then I have to close it with task manager.

@ricardobocaz Canyon please install process monitor - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer and then get the machine logs after running the Fusion workflows please?

I'm not happy at all. I would like to know the reason for this problem if it happens again. I wasted hours trying to find out. Thanks, anyway.
