Students don't have their own team, can't save anything

I posted this in a different forum but not sure it was the right one.  

 

I recently created invitations for all of my students in one class period and sent them (following the directions for educators setting up student licenses).  I assigned them all access to Fusion in the user management.  Then I added them to a team so that I could share a project level folder with them.  But when they all made their accounts, they never got the option to create their own team name.  Now, they are in my Team Hub, but they can't see anything I shared with them even though they have edit permission.

 

I figured I might try to have them just make projects and share with me, but every single one of them only shows my Team that I invited them to in the dropdown menu, and they can't create their own projects.  They can't even save any designs they make.  Does anyone know what is going on?  Or anyone who I can contact to get help?  I've tried email, chat, and haven't gotten anything.
