Student/educational accounts not validating - trial ending...

I am a teacher at Jordanhill School in Glasgow, UK. I have a number of students who have created an educational account and I have provided them with a letter to authenticate their status as students. All of the students, when they log into Autodesk.com are verified as entitled to educational licenses.

Fusion 360 is already installed on the computers as we have a multi user requirement on the same PC - these are not "personal" PC's. In previous years, once the educational account is verified Fusion updates to "educational license" at next start up but this is not happening any more.

Their accounts still show as a trial version which will expire. It is now 7 days since they uploaded the letter of authentication and their accounts have been authenticated by Autodesk. How do I resolve this issue and ensure their accounts (and work done so far) are not lost at the end of the "trial" period?

Hi @jo_sluddeng,

Thanks for sharing these details. If the students are showing as verified when they login to the Education Community, then it sounds like they just need to click "Get product" -> ACCESS beneath the Fusion 360 product card. The download will start, but they do not need to complete the download or install Fusion 360 if it's already installed. Clicking ACCESS is what activates the educational entitlement.

This will activate the educational entitlement. They can sign out then sign back in to Fusion 360.
