Stuck on 'Loading additional modules'

Prompted to update Fusion to the latest version. Upon relaunch, getting stuck at 'Loading additional modules'. Tried to repair, no luck. Then uninstalled and reinstalled. still no luck. Can't find this exact issue online so here I am. Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

It's definitely due to having Fusion on another extended monitor when closing it.  Easiest fix is to go into Display Settings, click on the monitor it's trying to launch on, disconnect display.  Relaunch fusion, then close it so it saves the new main display as the chosen display.  Then go back into display settings and reconnect the additional monitor.

imo the easiest fix is just to turn the secondary monitor off when relaunching fusion after it does this.  after it loads, turn it back on.  i literally move 3 inches from my mouse to the power button lol.

Just turning the monitor off doesn't work on a KVM.  The computer still sees the KVM connection as a monitor.

I'll add that in Win 11 Display Settings, I didn't see any button to disconnect the display.  I highlighted Display 2 and changed "Extend these displays" to "Show only on 1" in the dropdown.  After loading Fusion, I was able to change it back to "Extend these displays" to get the second monitor back up.
