struggling on how to ectrude circles

Hi im very new to fusion

Im following a tutorial but i dont how to extrude a part of a circle with out inturpting another partwhat i want it to look likewhat it looks like

it's hard to tell without a bit more info - sharing the model and a screencast would be the best way.  But, I suspect what you want to do is not the Extrude command, but the "add topology during Edit Form", which is done by holding down the Alt key while dragging a selection during Edit Form.  In the screencast below, the first Edit Form is what happens without the Alt key, and the second shows the difference if you hold down Alt while dragging - this action adds faces to the Form.
