Strange error creating drawing

You do not give enough information in your video.  You specifically do not show the view your are placing which is shown in the placement dialog box.  The view must be a true orthographic view.

The tooltip what you are showing in your video is shown when you try to dimension a isometric view, this is expected if you are actually adding a isometric view and adding diemnsions, can you please send me the model ? I can check if you are placing iso view or orthographic view
