stock contours from setup not working

In the geometry tab i have unchecked stock contours, which should take the stock contours from the setup, as it says in the tooltip. It actually doesn't see the stock and it rapids into it.

Or did i misunderstand the tooltip message?

You need to have stock contour checked but nothing selected.

Oh, this is misleading, because the tooltip shows when you hover over the "Stock Contours" option, and not over the stock selections field, and also the tooltip says "disabled - the perimeter of the stock as defined in the setup", so i'm thinking that if i let "stock contours" option disabled it takes the stock contours from the setup.

Anyway, thanks for telling me how this actually works.
