Stitch command not selecting the unstitched bodies

Hi, I have a f3d part I imported when I look at the part is says there are 2096 bodies unstitched. When I try to select the part to stitch it will not select the part. Ive looked in my selection settings and it's set to select all. If I just select the part it turns blue, but I don't seem to be able to select it for certain functions. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi @thevojtiseks

Could you please share the design to the next replay?

You can File>Export to *.f3d.

The video will show how to stitch the surfaces together.  I will not send the model back since you will probably want to repair the four (4) surfaces that are failing to stitch.

Hi John, It looks like the surface is quite coarse and I'm wondering how to refine it to something smoother to creat my part from. I'm new to CAD so bumbling around a little at the moment, I was thinking that refining the mesh and smoothing function might be the way to go, but I'm having difficulty selecting the part for any mesh functions, and I'm wondering if I need to do something to make it editable for this to happen ? Thanks very much

Do I need to tesselate the part - assuming it's already a surface ?

I am not sure how to smooth out the surface.  The model probably came from a Mesh and was converted to surfaces but even that I cannot be sure about.  I will play around with it but please do not get your hopes up.
