so, im having this issue where rotating using middle mouse wheel and left shift to rotate the camera, it was kind of sticking for a second and kept spinning, i figured it was a funny button as id never had a steel series mouse before, so i went out and bought a new logitech but its still happening on occasion, is anyone else had this issue? it feels like as if you havnt let go of the scroll wheel and it spins as you move the mouse for a second or 2 after you have let go.

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for posting! It looks like you are experiencing an issue in which Fusion gets stuck within the orbit command.

The Orbit command will should remain active as long as the middle mouse button/wheel is pressed - the shift key is only needed to trigger the command. But it seems like you are continuing to rotate after releasing the mouse button/wheel.

I have not experienced this issue on my end and have been unable to reproduce it. One thought that comes to mind is drivers for peripheral hardware - have you ever installed drivers for a Spacemouse or similar peripheral on your computer? If so, does uninstalling them resolve this problem?

Another idea is out of date graphics drivers. Are you using the most current version of the drivers for your graphics card? If not, please update the drivers and let me know if this behavior continues - I'm happy to help!

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

thanks for getting back to me, i never had this issue before the previous update, all drivers are up to date, crimson 17.7.1, no space mouse either, its strange, it doesnt do it all the time, its random but so so annoying when it does, if no one else has had the issue it must be a driver problem on my end, ill reformat the system and see if it persists, cheers

No your not the only one, i've had this issue before too.

I have had spacemouse installed, and am uninstalling as i type. Will report back if it persists past the uninstall.

I've noticed this most with the rotation as with the OP, but i'm fairly convinced this sticky mouse/key behaviour occurs elsewhere. I'm seeing a phantom "reorder features" when clicking on a sketch to edit it in a relatively heavy assembly.

Spacemouse drivers uninstalled, but problem persists.

Get it as well. Have noticed the sticking only begins after saving. With a new unsaved file can copy and paste from other saved designs to create quite a complex design with no sticking. Also working offline seems to help a bit. Guess it has something to do with Windows 10 disk file permissions maybe.

Have been experiencing this issue for about a year. Had previously attributed it to my 3dconnexion CAD mouse, since they are really bug ridden as well, but it just appeared on a l regular Logitech mouse on the go.

Prettey amazing this can happen six years after the original post?

I uninstalled all the software from 3D connexion, and now it is working perfectly.. what a joke really, you buy an expensive CAD mouse and the driver renders the mouse unusable.
