STEP export extremely slow

For the past 2 days STEP exports are taking minutes, and sometimes bring up the message 'Fusion is not responding', although the export does work eventually if left alone.

It always used to be instant.

Hey folks -

There is an issue we are working on that sounds like this. This behavior will impact users that have moved to a Collaborative Editing hub, and it will be slowest in files with many components and is specifically STEP export.

There should be a fix coming soon, the team is working on a solution.

Note - as someone else pointed out, going offline and exporting while offline is a workaround for now.

Hi @alan.jonesXHXUF @ns.technautonome @leluikom @to3dornottobe @rok6JZRG

We are testing internally for a potential fix to roll out in July if the testing goes well. At this time the fix is available in our Insider program if folks are interested in joining and providing feedback.

Some notes about Fusion Insider - this is a way to access upcoming Fusion versions about 30-40 days in advance. Insider will still use your Fusion production credentials and will honor your production license type. Often these versions are "forward schema" which means designs saved in these versions will not open in current production until both insider and production are on the same versions

Cheers,

Karina
