Startup account now saying "Design is located in another team." ???

I have a "Fusion 360 for Startups" account which was working perfectly until today.

A few weeks ago, I changed the email address for my account, but everything continued working fine

This morning, I made a small change to one of my designs.  When I tried to save it, Fusion360 would not show the Project it was originally saved under or any of my other Project folders.  It only allowed me to select "Demo Project", or create a new project or new folder.

Then I noticed that at the top right, it said "Basic Access"???  I went ahead and saved the design into the "Demo Project" and now it does NOT say "Basic Access" for it.

My entire "Home Stuff" projects folder disappeared.  But "My Recent Data" still shows me the items I had worked on that were in my "Home Stuff" folder.

When I open one of my previous designs from "My Recent Data", Fusion360 shows a warning saying "Design is located in another team."

I would sincerely appreciate any help in correcting this.

Hi @Jacob_Russo ,

Sorry to hear that is happening! I'm sure we can get this sorted.

Since I will need to know what your old and new email address was, can you please send me an email at james.youmatz@autodesk.com describing the symptoms with screenshots? Also letting me know the original email address, and your current will be super helpful in debugging this issue.

Thanks,

Thank you so very much James for helping me through this.  I am sincerely grateful.

Just to recap:

  1. My issue was caused by changing my eMail address for login.
    1. a. I had to change it because the email Domain no longer exists.
  2. Something went wrong with the links to my projects due to the change.
  3. I had to create a new "Team" using my new eMail/Login.
  4. Then I had to transfer the project folders form my old "hub" to the new "Team" hub.
  5. I was mistaken and had forgotten that I changed my "Startup" account to a "Personal" account back in 2021.

All transfers went well.  I am still missing my most important project folder "House Stuff".  But James explained that they are working on the final details to finalize the transfers.

Again, James, thank you so very much!!!
