I see that stacked balloons (balloon collections) are on the roadmap, any idea how far out the feature is? It's absence makes creating assembly drawings imposible in fusion 360.

Hi @daniel87DYA ,

Thank you for your feedback. We will record this feature request in our feature backlog. @ClintBrown3D

We know stacked balloons is different feature, however can you try if 'Align Balloons' command helps you to arrange the balloons in better way?

Thanks

Hi @daniel87DYA

Thanks for sharing. I hope that @Pramod.kadam's suggestion of using the align tool will be helpful. I'd love to dive a bit deeper and fully understand your requirement.

If you're up for it, here is a link to my calendar, please book a 30-minute Zoom session with me, it would be great to meet you and see how you are using Fusion drawings. I can also give you a sneak peek at some of the upcoming projects that we are working on.

Every customer request that we get, from meetings, emails, forum posts etc. gets collected and categorised in our feature request database. This information is used to prioritise the features that we build next. I've added your request for stacked balloons to our database.

Hi @ClintBrown3D & @Pramod.kadam ,

The alling balloons tool might be able to do the job if leader can be hidden but that is a janky bandaid that would surely explode every time the part was updated.

Stacked balloons are necessary for assembly drawings, they are used for bolt stacks (calling out bolts, washers, nuts, etc). I also like to call out the use of thread lockers/loctite/anti-seize on bolted connections by having a hidden part such that it appears on the BOM (parts list) and can be added to the balloon stack [In other softwares I would then manually change its quantity to "A/R" (as required)].

Daniel.
