Splitting "cylinder" using two tools generates 2 bodies instead of 3. Doesn't happen to extruded cylinders.

I wanted to create a cylinder and make two cuts using two offset planes. After generating the planes and using the "split body" tool, selecting the cylinder and the two offset planes, the output generated were 2 bodies, the 3rd being a ghost. Trying to delete the ghost body is not permitted. Deleting the action and redoing it again results in the same situation.

In the other hand, replacing the cylinder tool with an extruded circumference and redoing the body splits will generate the 3 bodies successfully.

Moreover, attempting to split the cylinder using a single tool will generate a single body and a ghost body.

Making any changes to the body like and additional extrusion will make the ghost body appear in the tree.

I don't see that in the model you shared.  I see 3 bodies:

I would be highly surprised if Split Body worked differently on a Cylinder primitive vs an extruded circle.  The results are the same (and, in fact, Cylinder is just a shortcut to drawing a circle and Extruding).

If you want to get rid of one of the resulting bodies, you should use Remove, not Delete.  Delete will try to delete the Split feature as well.
