does not extrude completely if I do it in pieces it confuses them and extrudes something that does not select

Please attach your model for sketch diagnostics.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the sketch is very awkward. That's why I got only 1 element for the extrusion.
In the second part of the screeencast you can see that the curve has many errors.
I recommend to use arcs or 3-circles instead of splines.
