Spacemouse Wireless - Up/Down Zoom Direction

I have been using 3D mice for many years from 3DConnexion and I've always had my zoom on the Up/Down setting because that is what I am used to. I recently purchased a new Spacemouse Wireless kit running 3DxWare 10.6.5 and Fusion 2.0.8412.

If I leave the space mouse on the default settings it works as it should on all axes, but when I enable the Up/Down Zoom Direction, I am unable to reverse the zoom to the way I always have used it. The other weird thing I noticed is the rotation axis about the "z" of the puck gets reversed and I am unable to change it back. For example, twist the puck clockwise, the model rotates counterclockwise.

No matter what settings I change, the only way to get the mouse to function according to the settings that are displayed, even though they are not what I prefer is to "Reset all Settings" back to default.

Any help would be appreciated because I am far too stuck in my ways for this to be effective. I'm almost better off not using the space mouse.

Hello-

I'm attaching an image of my 3DConnexion settings.  Hopefully, that will help you.  I also have it so up/down is zoom.

Yes, I know how to adjust the settings. I'm saying when I check the boxes to the way I like it to be, the system does not react as expected when I manipulate the Space Mouse.

I don't know if it's a driver issue, or Fusion is not interpreting the settings correctly or what have you but something is amiss.

Interesting turn of events.

My computer performed a round of windows updates, and I received a notification that I needed to restart my computer to finish setting up my Space Mouse Wireless. I restarted and figured I would give it another go and so far it seems to have accepted my settings and worked as expected now.

I don't know what the problem actually was but it seems to have worked with the newest update.
