Somewhat repeatable crash.

While working on designs with quite a lot of info (design and CAM), fusion pauses\freezes quite often. I figure this is when it's making a backup file or something. Sometimes I'm in a hurry to work on something and I've clicked on one of the expand arrows in the browser maybe 3 or 4 times and Fusion will crash. This has happened quite often and seems repeatable. You just need a fairly big design that causes Fusion to lag.

@Phil.E  any ideas, think there should be a few error reports on this.

Thanks for the report, but I'm not finding much here. Your comment on that ticket matches your description, but looks more related to 2D contouring CAM operations, and selection. Yours is one of two reports in the bucket.

You had two other recent crashes involving patterns. It appears you can repeat it by your comments. That would be a good one to get a model and some steps to repeat it.

Thanks as always.

@Phil.E  Thinking about it it bit more, the crash I've had several times where Fusion pauses\freezes while I think it's creating a backup file normally crashes straight to the desktop. Fusion just closes, no error report dialog, no chance to save. It happens in Design and CAM workspaces and always I click on an arrow in the browser, nothing happens so I click again and sometimes I'm a bit impatient and click a couple more times and bang Fusion's gone. I have tried to resist clicking but sometimes too stressed and in a hurry! Maybe this crash was different but had similar symptoms, I clicked an arrow to expand an item in the browser, nothing happened so clicked again💥.

As for the pattern crash, I reported it here with a sample design. I see now the pattern losses a direction but it's not obvious from the dialog. Think if I'd clicked cancel instead of OK I could have closed the dialog.

When the crash goes straight to desktop it can often mean 'graphics'. Can't say that applies here, but general advice would be to check if driver updates are available. I'll try to catch this in testing.

Thanks for that pattern report as well.
