Hi,

For those who use Fusion 360 or those who can answer too 🙂

Can you help me to fix some things.

1/ problem on the decal. i have a line behind i don't know what it is and i don't know how to remove it?

2/ how to create a new sketch from another one, that is to say to take again and to lean on the sketch previously created.

3/ where is the HDri texture folder

Thank !

Try unchecking Chain Faces in Decal dialogue to see if the problem is solved. If this doesn't help, please share your file or an example in which the same problem happens, just from the image it is hard to diagnose.

In sketch you can Project and/or Include previous sketches (or other entities):

...

3/ where is the HDri texture folder...

You can access it from Render workspace > Scene Settings:

Hi,

1/ nope, it didn't solve my problem. I'm attaching the file so you can look at it and see what's wrong with it.

Thx !

I think its because of the way Fusion wraps the image around cylinder. You can avoid it by using Split Face to have a face almost the same size as your label and apply decal only to that face:

In the attached file I have defined the sketch for splitting not so carefully. You can adjust it to better match your image's aspect ratio (though not necessary to be accurate).

You didn't split the face! The only difference between your first (v3) and new (v4) file is that you have added a sketch. You should use that sketch to split the face and then apply decal only to that face (i.e. with Chain Faces unchecked). Check the timeline of my file.

Yes, I had selected the right side, it is necessary to select the side that will be used.

But it's normal to do that? I'm a little surprised.

Or is there a problem elsewhere ?

Thanks

No, you didn't do what I suggested. Here are the timelines:

As you can see I have done a Split Face, as a result of which I have two faces and apply the decal only to one of them:

Yes I do it afterwards, it works.

I meant, is this the normal way to do it ?
