Snap to does not work on points

I make lines in a skech, then to connect the ends of the lines with an arc, I would normaly select the point to start with, then select the point to finish with.  I am working on an offset plain, and I have sketches under that plane that I am following for the new sketch.  The pointer will not pick up the points unless I slightly angle my view.  I just can't work strait on anymore.  This is a newer problem.

need more information.  Hard to say from your description.  A screencast or design would help.  One thing to check.  Is "auto project edges on reference" turned on?

I don't fully understand the feature yet, but the little "hand" that shows up some how changes what plane, or what axis you are working on.  I pushed that, and then could not access the point the next time I went to modify the sketch.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi,

If you are on a plane offset from the target point, you can only project it onto your current sketch plane on the axis of the offset, but you cannot make a direct connection.

This projection occurs when you virtually click this point.

But as @jeff_strater  mentioned, any explanation will be better if you show the process in a screencast and not just in words.
