Sketch Offset Created No Geometry

I'm having issues with every time I try to complete the offset it gives me the error message of The sketch offset created no geometry. This is the first time I've encounter this issue and can't seem to get it figured out. A few will have odd sharp edges ... any idea why or how to fix it?

Hi,

The size of an offset has its natural limits.

This depends on the geometry and becomes noticeable when the offset is gradually increased until it overlaps itself. This usually leads to error messages.
