Sketch no longer auto-rotate after update

Normally when I create new sketch view automatically goes to orphographic and turns to correct view port (i.e. when I'm creating sketch in XY plane, view will go to Top). Something happened after latest update that it no longer does this. Nothing moves, and I didn't even realize I was in sketch view for a minute... Can this be changed somewhere in the settings?

this is a change as a result of the 3D sketch changes.  If you have "Allow 3D sketching of lines and splines" checked:

it over-rides auto-look-at.  I'm not sure yet if that was intentional or a bug, but if you disable 3D sketching, this will return to normal.

Thanks a lot! Disabling that option did the trick!

Shouldn't this be reported as a bug. It's 10/23/2021 and this issue is still present when 3D Sketches is enabled.

When you are using 3D Sketch enabled, you do not want the view to auto-rotate to any 2D plane or face.  If it did, what is the use of having 3D Sketch enabled?  If you are using 3D Sketch and have to place your view to a particular face or plane, including any origin plane, simply use the Look At command.  I believe it functions as it should.
