Sketch/model view visual distortion

I'm working on an imported Sketchup model by drawing new sketches using the sketchup meshes as visual references. I first noticed that sketch dimension text looked distorted, something like 125% normal vertical height (stretched vertically). I then noticed that a centerpoint circle was obviously being distorted into an ellipse (taller than it was wide). Everything internally appears to be accurate, i.e. the sketch when exported as a DXF and opened in DraftSight is accurately shown as a circle. Below is a screengrab with a red circle added in an image editor. This has persisted through a repair and a few restarts of the machine. The screenshot has the sketch plane viewed straight on, and it's parallel to one of the normal planes. Camera view is set to orthographic. What else can I try to fix this? As I'm basically tracing elements by eye to start with, it would be helpful if they were displayed correctly.

Please attach the model in question so the Forum users can take a look.  Add the SketchUp export as well.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Unfortunately I cannot share these models publicly. Understandable that it's difficult to make conclusions based on descriptions alone.

It appears that this issue is isolated to one specific sub-component in the assembly. When that component is activated, the sketches created have this distortion, seemingly regardless of which plane is used as the sketch plane. When other sub-components or the top level component are active, the sketches appear normal. The distortion does have an effect on the tracing method that I'm using - it causes the initial overlay of sketch elements to be considerably off from the actual measurements that the original model is showing. For instance one rectangular feature traced with the distortion present shows a length of around 271 inches, when the original model shows that feature at 244 inches. I've checked the other components that were already recreated before I noticed this, and nothing else is off. It looks like I can work around it by not having that component active while I draw up the replacement solids.

I tried to save the offending component as a separate file to see if the issue persisted (and to maybe be able to obfuscate it enough to share) but it doesn't have the same issue in the new file. Strange issue.
