Sketch edit changes thread face selection

In the example below, I have two coaxial cylindrical faces. I want a thread on one of them which I can create, no problem. Then, when I edit the original sketch (not changing, just opening/closing) or when I reopen the thread dialog box, the selection automatically expands to include the second surface. Can someone one help me understand what is happening here?

Hi @rhelms77

I looked at the file, and it looks like the reason this is happening is because the operation lives in both the Globe and Iris components.

So to fix this, I rolled the timeline back and made the thread operation in the desired component.

Then to confirm, I did a "compute all" which is essentially what was happening after editing the sketch at the beginning of the file.

That seems to have fixed it. Probably since the operation was tied to both components, it was insisting on having a reference from each.

Let me know if that solved the issue.
