Simplifying complex mesh of many parts for 2 part mold

Hi there, been using fusion for a few weeks now but still don't know much. I am trying to simplify this STL file of a glock into a superficial form that I can use to 3D print a mold to be used with plaster. (With a pour hole extending from the barrel) I have tried various tutorials online to try and simplify this object, including meshmixer. (I also attempted a lot of commands to try to simplify it in rhino) Basically when I go to make the mold the program is reading all the internal components such as bullets and other hardware that is beyond view in the gun chassis. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Attached you can see a picture of the issue I'm having as well as the og file.

I recommend that you create native Fusion geometry rather than attempting to use someone else’s mess, err I mean mesh, in your design.  (I am assuming you did not create the mesh rubbish.)
