Simple bodies not combining?!?!?

Hi. I am trying to combine 8 small shapes with a big red cylinder. Sounds simple. However, after using the combine tool, 2 of the 8 small shapes are still separate bodies even after being correctly selected in the combine process. When i saw this i didn't think much as i tried it a second time after with just the last 2 small shapes to combine with the cylinder. But yet again they still remain separate afterwards. What am i doing wrong????

I have attached my project here. FYI the big cylinder i mentioned and the 2 last uncombineable shapes can both be found in "Drum 1" component. Also, my failed attempt to combine them is the most recent feature in "Drum 1"s timeline.
Thanks.

Can't unpick your design and how you've made the small parts but they don't touch the larger part. The hole is 14.15 and the radius on the small part is 14.0 so there's a 0.15 gap.

A quick fix, drag the combine back before the press pulls.

That was actually my original plan: to combine BEFORE the press pull.
However, it goes crazy with surfaces when i do that as you can see in the first screen recording.

(I may have to redesign the Small parts as im pretty sure its because of their crude design.)
After i experienced the mess of the model freaking out i decided to do it the other way round, to press pull and then combine the small parts. This also has weird things happening too as you can see in the second screen recording.

So should i:

A) redesign the small parts, Combine THEN Press pull?

B) figure out why press pull is not working, Press pull THEN Combine?

C) other?

C) other.  I would start over from scratch using what was learned from this attempt.

I would fully define each and every sketch.

I would not have any sketches with repeated dimensions like this...

The entire design would be cleaner, more robust and easier to edit.

i think this is because i press pulled the cylinder before combining it to the parts so there must of been a gap between it and the ... but how come the other 6 parts DID properly combine to it? They should all be the same?

ah... i was hoping you wouldn't notice that monstrosity lol, it would definitely help to go back and define everything else which im going to do. Unfortunately (with that picture) its the only way i know how to create a fully defined circle thats circumference is perfectly stretched by fusion to fit 15x 14mm ball bearings with 3x 5mm intervals between every 5. I think i may be better off time wise to solve A) or B).

UPDATE:

I have successfully combined all 8 shapes (that i removed the draft feature from each) with the red cylinder!😄

My ONE PROBLEM is this: The press pull feature is not acting how it should. Instead of increasing the inner diameter of the cylinder from 28mm to 28.15mm it just seemingly makes another surface within the cylinder or leaves unnecessary walls. I have already roughly shown this issue in a video in one of my comments. I cant describe this problem very well so i've recorded it in a little bit more detail and attached it if it helps.

Press Pull has options other than Automatic,

if Press Pull was not a function in Fusion what would you do?

Edit the sketches.

Might help.....
