Sheet Metal Unfold : The selected stationary entity is not connected to any bends??

Hey, im very new to using sheet metal but I have a design that was originally built as a solid extrude which I shelled then cut sections off so I can cut them from 3mm aluminum sheet. Other parts of the design were able to be converted to sheet metal and the bends unfolded no problems but this section gives the error

"Warning: The selected stationary entity is not connected to any bends. Please select a different stationary entity."

I isolated the problem section and exported it to its own file.

Ive created a sheet metal rule for 3mm aluminium
Choose "convert to sheet metal" and can select any of the side faces and it detects it as 3mm

But then when I choose to unfold I get the error/warning

"Warning: The selected stationary entity is not connected to any bends. Please select a different stationary entity."
If I try to create a flat pattern I get a failure to compute error.

I thought maybe it was because the bottom face was not parallel to the top so I made a copy and used draft to make it parallel but still get the same errors

Does anyone know why its not working for this specific bend?

Hi,

The transitions to the arc are not tangential!
In the screencast, I added tangential definitions to the profile after projecting it into a new sketch.
The bevelled sheet metal part is then created with the same profile in a new sheet metal component.

Thankyou! I didn't know they needed to be tangent (like I said a newb to sheet metal) but even so those bends were supposed to be tangent in my design like all the others.. somewhere along the line that changed (my designs can be very messy when they get more complicated and I go back and change things and it effects stuff further down the line)

But now I know what to look for if i have this issue again, thankyou very much for the quick solution
