Sheet Metal Thickness - Weird

I've updated F360 today -  Maybe I've been staring at the screen for too long, but when trying to cut a profile through a 1.2mm thick sheet metal flange, the flange thickness, and only the flange thickness after the fold, changes itself to 1.4mm ??????

Having run and re-run the process I've undone my work to a point it's back to 1.2mm and saved the file - I'll try again in the morning - Is there a BUG? or is it just me?

Please attach your model so the Forum users can see if they can replicate your situation.

If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Thanks for getting in touch,

I've tried replicating the scenario both in my design model, and in a new model following the same parameters - but can get neither to repeat what was happening.

In rolling back (undo) each step one at a time looking for schoolboy errors I found no steps that could explain the glitch through component/body/sketch/ layer issues - Having saved my design at a point the sheet thicknesses were back as they should be (with great relief), and restarted my PC - F360 has performed the exact same commands in the way you'd expect. I don't know if it's possible now to get back (forwards) via Redo to that particular juncture - I'd not saved my work for 4 or 5 hours, nor restarted my PC since installing the latest update - so it may have been too much in the cache, or some update conflict needing a reboot.

I'll be more mindful to capture the issue if it happens again - I'm happy for Autodesk Tech's to access my design files and interrogate them for a bug - but as I can't now replicate the issue, I'd rather keep my man-in-shed endeavours to myself.

Best wishes

Nick

@nddst

I recommend being more mindful about save intervals as well.
