When I make a sheet metal loop where flanges eventually have ends that touch each other, the two flange ends join and disappear. The sheet metal model no longer is able to make a flat pattern like I want. The only way so far to guarantee two distinct ends is to make the last flange slightly shorter than I want. Is it possible to make the program recognize the existence of both ends where they touch? The attached photo (Sheet Metal Loop.png) shows what happens after ends touch. The attached photo (Sheet Metal Loop 2.png) shows the ends not touching, but I had to shorten the flange so the program could make a flat pattern. There must be a way to have my flanges the length I want without ends merging into something I can't make a flat pattern from.
