Selection measurement tool glitch when drawing open

The moment I open a drawing related to a design, if I switch back to the design, the measurement tool in the bottom right freezes to whatever it measured before the drawing was open. Only restarting the program resolves this.

Any ideas?

Thanks for sharing this. I just tried on my Macbook Pro and did not see this issue. Maybe I am missing a step in your workflow. Can you create a Screencast and document how you got this to happen? 

Also, instead of restarting, does closing the model document and reopening it take care of the issue?

I'm running on windows 10 pro 64-bit.

Closing the drawing has no difference, when reopening the previous measurement before it was closed, shows.

I've found minimising and maximising the window resolves it - maybe a graphics issue?
