Section Analysis bug

For since the last update I've been having issues with section analysis in the manufacture work space (design work space analysis still works) disappearing  on save and close.  On every new file I make in Fusion 360, with several accounts, across multiple computers, when you save and close the file then reopen it, the section analysis has this error.

I can solve the issue by editing the section and re-selecting the cut plane (which is just from the origin and not part of the model) and the section analysis shows up again till I save and close the file and reopen.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fusion in case that would help and problem persists.  It will have the same error with any new section analysis made since the update and with any file whether new or old but all old section analysis that were made before the update still show up fine on reopening the files.  I have not tried to edit any old section analysis in case it disappears though.

Any ideas that might help solve the issue if it can be fixed outside of an update would be appreciated, thanks.

I too will get the Sectional Analysis error you describe but only if I use an Origin plane to define the Sectional Analysis.  If I create a construction plane, in the Design Workspace, and use that to define the Sectional Analysis in the Manufacturing workspace, save the model, close it and then reopen the model, the Sectional Analysis will not give an error in the Manufacturing workspace.  It is a bother to create a separate construction surface but this process will solve your problem.

@jhackney1972  Has this problem been reported to support?

I would assume it has since it is in the Support Forum.  @jeff_strater, who should see this?

If it's only a problem in the manufacture workspace then @seth.madore  is probably a better choice.

It also looks like this has been logged already and we've fixed this internally. Look for a future update to bring us this improvement.

That seems to be working for me now as a bandaid, though I have always used the origin plane before.  Thanks for the help.

Been seeing a lot more features introduced/changed in the last few months and hope they focus on the bugs soon and get those cut back a bit more.
