This post is about electronic design, working in a schematic. When using the 'add' command on the command line, it takes a few seconds for fusion to open the dialog. We are talking about 3-15s, average on my PC is about 8s (8 core CPU, 32GB RAM, NVME SSD, 250Mbits connection). Fusion is absolutely horrendously slow. Overall, electronic design is terribly slow. Basically, everything is incredibly slow.
It doesn't matter if the schematic is empty or full.
It happens repeatedly, using the command several times in a row won't help. It always takes a long time.
In comparison, the old EAGLE is incomparably faster. The dialog opens immediately. Libraries are the same (old libs are imported to fusion team).
When will you fix it?
