Save as STL options greyed out

Hi, long time listener, first time caller.

There's a bug in Fusion on the "Save As STL" menu.

If I am trying to save multiple bodies as STL, I have the option of exporting them as one file or as one file per body. If I choose to export them as one file, I have the option of exporting them to a file directory or straight into my 3D Print Utility. That works great. If I choose to export them as one file per body, the option to export directly into my 3D Print Utility is greyed out. That also makes sense. However, if I leave the menu with the structure set as "one file per body", Fusion remembers that for the next time, even if I am trying to save one body as an STL.

When I try to export one body as an STL, the structure menu is greyed out, but it is stuck on my previous selection of "one file per body," which also means "send to 3D print utility" is greyed out, and I am forced to save to disk. The only way to fix this is to go back and export multiple bodies, select "one file" as a structure, and then exit the menu. Only then will the menu allow me to export directly to a 3D print utility.

Send to 3D print utility greyed out if I select one file per body.

The result of trying to export a single body after exporting multiple bodies to a directory. You can see "Structure" is still set to "one file per body," but I can't change it, which then locks me out of "send to 3D print utility."

I can't reproduce this effect. Are you on windows or mac? Have you tried restarting your computer during your testing?

This issue has been going on for months after many restarts. I'm on a windows machine.

Are you reproducing like the following:

Make one component with two independent bodies.

Right click component.

Save as STL.

Set Structure to "One file per body"

Click OK and save to disk.

Then right click a single body,

Save as STL

Can you toggle "send to 3D print utility?"

That works, thanks for the succinct and well detailed steps.

I do have exactly the same issue.  It worked and now, for no reason the structure option is greyed out

Ok it works when I use the right click on the component list and select export as a mesh.
