Save as Mesh > One File Per Body yields way too many files

I have a file with some nested components. When I right click a component do Save as Mesh with the one file per body option, I am getting multiple files per body. I haven't figured out precisely how many extraneous bodies there are, but e.g. for one component that has 8 bolts, I am getting 64 files, so it may be a squared relationship. It may not be as straightforward as the square of the number of bodies as I think the severally-nested component layers factor in. 

I think my component has 57 bodies, but I get 1369 files. I just made a test file with 5 bodies that yields 25 files. I'm looking into writing a bash script to delete the extraneous files for now, but this is very unexpected behavior.

Take a look at this Forum post.  It talks about a Fusion Add-in I think will do the trick for you.  Please read to the end of it as the author talks about various revisions and other details.
