Rocket external conduit end cap

I’m a hobbyist with marginal understanding of Fusion 360 capabilities.  I’m in the process of replicating the external conduits in a Gemini Titan rocket.  The end cap is causing me some problems.  I can create the horizontal and end vertical outlines, extrude it up, but when I do a loft to blend the ens outline with the extruded base, it gives me a flat connection instead of an intended half round profile.  Attached is a photo of the full scale cap and what I came up with.  Any input on correcting this is appreciated.

Can you screenshot the part and annotate it to show what you mean?

To me it seems like you can just fillet the edge that didn't curve in the loft feature.

Here is one way. You can go through the timeline and follow along.

Thanks for the input.  The nose is still flat instead of domed in your example.  I appreciate the feedback.  Is there a way of accomplishing a domed loft instead of a straight loft.  I tried creating an offset plane down the center of the cap, then drew a profile, but I couldn’t figure out how to connect the profile with the sides.  Lofting did very weird things.

once again, this is what I’ve come up with and the red line in the second image shows the very rough profile that’s intended.

If you can attach an f3d file of your model, it would be much easier to help.

I was able to do this with a surface loft with a guide rail. The surface is not perfect in the corners but it might be OK for you. Everything from your solid loft on will have to be redone though since it was based on the solid loft.
