Revolve issue

The grid I have is set at 45 degrees instead of 90 degrees  I see nothing in preferences to change it.

I am following learn fusion in 30 days. In lesson 6 you create a hex nut. I am having a problem with revolving a profile around the polygon. I use project to set up a point to dry a chamfer as my profile to revolve. I cannot get this profile to revolve around the z profile. Z is only giving me a 360 revolve with it centered on the profile not the z access.

I used a plain hex body to demonstrate one way to add the chamfer to the edges of a hex.  If you have questions, please ask, if it solves your question please select the "Accept Solution" on my post.
