Resolution of Shaded part

I have a long I-beam that I fit to my Dwg but the shading resolution is terrible.  Is here any way to fix this?

Does every shaded part look like that, or just this long I-beam?

Have you tried not using shaded view? I ask because in drafting shaded views are not standard and generally not used unless for isometric views. Please help me understand what value it adds, this will help me provide the customer expectation if I decide to log a bug report on this.

I understand that the standard is not usually to shade the view but my boss really likes the look of it.  I don't believe I've  noticed it on any other drawings, at least this bad.  I'm going to suggest that we don't shade it and I'm sure that's the direction we will go, it was just something I noticed and thought there ight be a specific reason.

Totally understand, I was just suggesting a workaround. Clearly the graphics are distorted and that's a legitimate bug, so thanks for reporting it.

Do you think it's related to the aspect of the part? Being long and relatively thin? If you have any other observations it would help.
