Hi,

I had Fusion 360 on my computer, but removed it as I urgently required space on my hard drive.

I am now attempting to download it again without too much success. I am a registered Hobbyist user.

assistance please...

If you go to your autodesk account all products and services and sign in can you download from there? Can you still sign in to your hub?

Mark,

Thanks. I went there, but there is nothing showing??

I had to remove my version on my Mac Book Pro to make space. as I was running a particle flow model and needed lots of space for result files.

I thought it would be the easiest to recover, but I appear to be mistaken!!!

Has your subscription run out? Can you still access your hub? Maybe the account is different for hobby\startup users although I'm pretty sure you should have all your subscribed software there. @James.Youmatz  have you got any advice?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Just taking a quick shot in the dark - but are you using the same email address that you did when you had a hobby license? If so - the only thing I can think of is that it expired which is why it is not showing up in your Autodesk Account.

Are you able to resign up (which will provide a download link) via here? If not, let me know and I can get it reinstalled for you.

Thanks,

Hi James,

Thanks for your response. I did use the registered email, and I can sign in.

In Step 3 it Reads:-

STEP 3: DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL FUSION 360

You already have an existing Fusion 360 license. Access Fusion 360 in your Autodesk Account

However, when I go there, the cupboard is bare!!!

I found an Original version but its a Demo which has expired and tells me to "Purchase".

Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm assuming you mean you have downloaded Fusion 360 and are presented with the Trial Expired: Buy Now? If so, click this dialog (red button in top right), and select which industry you are apart of. Then (towards the bottom of the dialog), you will see "See if you Qualify for Free Use". From here you can follow the prompts to convert this expired trial to a hobbyist license.

Thanks,

I'm having the same issue as the OP, but I don't already have the software downloaded.  The Hobbyist page says "You already have an existing Fusion 360 license. Access Fusion 360 in your Autodesk Account" but my Autodesk Acconut page under "All Products & Services" just has "Storage".  Any idea on how to renew without having Fusion 360 already installed?

Thanks!

I have the same problem and this is really an idiotic design flaw from a company that specializes in product design...come on man

EDIT

Created a new account and was able to download the software. Then logged in with my original account in the product and renewed my license in-product. Still think it is a really flawed process when you HAVE to create a new account in order to get a download....since you have to sign in any way, why not just set up a public download link?
