remove empty component folders

I had a very large steel structure that I deleted over 90% to get the section I needed as the file was huge. after the deleting session I still have hundreds of component folders, but all empty (no bodies) just the origin. I have tried deleting them but doesnt work. The steelwork was imported as as STEP file.

Any ideas please

Surprised that Delete does not work.  If so, make sure to turn on history, if it is not already on, then try to use Remove to get rid of them.
