Rectangular pattern not working

Hi all,

I tried using rectangular pattern to make a pattern out of a criss cross pattern I created (attached in image). But its not working. The arrow doesn't show up to make copies of my pattern. What can I do?

Please help. Thank you.

Normal to complete the dialogue boxes from top to bottom,

In that picture, there is nothing selected, and no direction stated,

When doing those, the lower down particulars usually reset.

Might help....

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

The image you posted is a sketch, you have to be in the sketch environment to select it as a Rectangular pattern.  I used a window selection method but you have to fill in the Rectangular dialog box from top to bottom as suggested before.  Screencast will explain.

If you are planning to Emboss this pattern on the ring, I would consider Embossing the pattern, as it is, and then Circular Pattern the feature in the modeling environment.

Hi,

Thank you so much! I was able to do rectangular pattern. But I couldn't do Emboss nor circular pattern. I've attached a pic and the f3d file. Please help.

Thank you.

Actually I just figured it out. I couldn't emboss because the length of my pattern was too long. Thank you once again
