recovery file partly recovered

Hello,

A week ago my computer crashed during an update from Windows 10/64.  Today after doing a 360 update, i reloaded the recovery file.  I made some changes and went save the file with a rename from recovery.  the strange thing is that the new file had no up to date changes on the sketch, but all the changes I made were added dimensions and parameters.  All the changes were made in the parameter file are shown, however all of my dimensions pre and post have been lost, all dimensions and constraints.  There is nothing on the screen when you go back into sketch, only the original sketch now only partly constrined.  Any ideas how I can recovery my recovery file so I can recovery my recovery file changes in both pre and post recovery saving of a recovery file.
