Recessed knob what is it?

Hello, I need to create a recessed handle just like the image, How is this done? I searched YouTube for an example but I don't even know what its called, so my search results were at zero 😞 

I needed to make it  3" round and 1/2" deep for a lid similar to a bucket, Suggestions?

Have you looked at your video?  It is so fuzzy it is very difficult to see the what you are doing.  I can make it out enough probably to figure out how you did it but barely.  At least this is how it is full screen on my end.

I should have mentioned that the HD and 4K versions take an hour and sometimes more to convert.

But then you have it in brilliant 4K sharpness! Patience 😉
