Recent Fusion update now showing incorrect OS

Since updating to Fusion 2.0.2094x86-64  I get a banner saying I'm running Windows 8 Pro build and unsupported by Autodesk Fusion - My operating system is Windows10 Pro build 22H2.

It seems fully functional, just annoying getting this message everytime it starts up.

Hi @3dmitch,

It would appear you are running Fusion under a Windows compatibility mode flag. This will cause Windows to report to applications a false version of an older OS - it's very convincing, and apps will think you are running on, e.g. Windows 8. That's likely what's happening here. A compatibility flag should not be necessary for Fusion - you can disable it by checking Properties for the Fusion application shortcut or exe, and unchecking Run this program in compatibility mode for:

Thanks for fast response Lance.

As suggested the compatabilty flag was set for Windows 8, now unticked and annoying prompt gone.

Regards

Allan
