I have been trying to access a shared folder, but I keep on getting error "read access denied". How can I fix it?

Thank you.

Hi @psharm15

Are you on a hobbyist license? If so, this is a limitation of the license. Sharing/cloud collaboration is limited with hobby licenses. If you are on a commercial license, then is the other user on a hobbyist license?

Cheers,

Karina

I am on an education license. Does it not work for that?

Thanks.

Education license you should be able to share - unless your counterpart is on a hobbyist license.

If you are both on EDU or EDU/commercial, there could be something else (permissions?) preventing you from accessing.

We are both on the education license. How can they update permissions?

Thanks.

Hmm, I just had a look in the back end and it doesn't appear that you are a member of any other hubs. Is the person sharing with you sharing from a personal hub? If it's from a team hub, have them try de-activating you and then reactivating. This article shows how to do that.

Let me know how that goes!

Unfortunately, it still is not working. Is there anything else we could do?
