As can be seen from these screenshots, if you measure a distance or select an edge for which you want to know the length from the information at the bottom right, they are poorly visible on dark backgrounds, and if you want to view them you have to move or strain your eyes.

Wouldn't it be better to add a white blur to the background or highlight the text better when the contrast is low?

It shouldn't be difficult, they do it for subtitles too.

Hi @davideromeo.d ,

I like your vision on this.
I just started after 13 years of working for an Autodesk reseller in a production environment where I do the programming of all the machines.
And I came across this now 2 times that I receive a dark file from a customer and couldn’t read the information.

@seth.madore hier a nice wish to improve the information in the right lower corner.

This is something that's been raised in the past and there are no plans at present (that I'm aware of) to improve this behavior. Let me check with some folks who know more about this area than I do and get back to you. 🙂

I am glad that this suggestion has been appreciated, even though the blur is available in Qt and css, I doubt it will be added in the next few years. There are better suggestions than this proposed by the community that have never been implemented. But proposing never hurts.
