"Untitled" missing from "Create Drawing > Drawing" drop down.....

I'm doing a typical 10 page drawing but want to add 8 flat patterns to this existing drawing. I've looked in Help and they show how it can be done by going back to model space, activate the flat pattern, create new drawing from design. There's a drop down at "Destination > Drawing > "Create New" however when I select the drop down it shows "Create New" and under it the recent drawings I've got but no "untitled" option. Where should "untitled" normally live? Without it I can't proceed. Thanks in advance.

When you select the dropdown list, it will show you the drawings you can add your flat patterns to.  This list will display the name of your available drawings.  It will only show 'untitled' if you haven't yet saved the drawing.  In the attached screen shot, I can only add a new part to the drawing called 'Perf Fence Drawing', and there is no 'untitled' there as I have already saved this drawing.

Also, you can only add a new part to a drawing if is it present in the original assembly the drawing was created from.  So you are not able to open a new part model and then try to add that to an existing drawing.  You must pick items from inside the original model.
